I Love, Love, Love coffee! I love coffee at coffee shops, but I’m a thrifty girl, so I make most of my coffee at home! Before I had a grinder, I would carefully pick out coffee from the gourmet section of my grocery store, then use the store’s grinder to grind my precious coffee beans…but I hate doing this for a few reasons: First, I never know who ground what kind of coffee before me…The store’s grinder always seems to have residue of grounds in it, and I’m always left wondering what else I’m getting with the coffee that I chose. The other reason is that it’s just so much BETTER to grind your coffee right before your brew it. The beans don’t get all dried out or lost their aroma like if you pre-grind them, or, worse yet, buy them pre-ground. But…that’s how I’ve bought coffee for years, because I couldn’t be bothered to invest in a grinder. Boy, was I STUPID! I love the way coffee tastes black, and fresh-ground coffee tastes soooo much better black! I use creamer sometimes, too…either way, there is a difference between fresh-ground coffee and stale coffee, no matter how you drink it!

coffeegrinder2This grinder is great, for both my french press, and my automatic drip pot. I can adjust the grind for either a coarse or a fine grind. I fill up the top, grind it all into the bottom, and I’m ready to go! It’s not as quick as an electric grinder, but i never have to search for an outlet, AND I can take this camping with me! It’s super-quiet, compared to an electric grinder, and the crank is super-easy to turn! 😀 This is great, and you can find one on Amazon here: Brillante Manual Coffee Grinder – Excellent for Brewing Espresso, Pour Over, French Press and Turkish Coffee At Home or Away – Hand Crank Design Works for Coffee Beans, Pepper and Spices – Compact Travel Ready Size & Adjustable Ceramic Conical Burr / Mill (Model: BR-MCG-SS1)
