Packaging Design-Dippin’ Dots-I want to know what you think!

Hey y’all!

I’ve been working on a packaging design for individual servings of dippin’ dots. Please let me know what you think!! 😀

Screen Shot 2015-09-18 at 2.17.06 AMMy main target market is women, ages 20-40, with a secondary market of men and children of all ages, because let’s face it, everyone loves dippin’ dots! I was tasked with creating a product line with 6 different ‘flavors’ or versions, and was very excited when my classmates chose dippin’ dots for me to take on! Please, feel free to let me know what you think. I’m going for a fun, yet high-class package, as these will likely retail for about $4 for a large serving of dots. Comments, please!

As Always, Stay Beautiful & Think Divergently!

Okay beauties and divergent thinkers:

I am creating a fictional towing company for a design project.

I’m thinking this is a unique towing company that not only tows your car, but brings a rental car for you to drive as well.

Question 1: What shall we call this towing company?

EZ-Tow sounds too ‘every other towing company’ to me.

Tow-N-Go sounds too generic, as well. It could even be something simple like “Tom’s Towing”

Please come up with a few ideas for me…NOTHING is too silly or lame!

Question 2: What would a good tagline for a company like this be?

Here’s what I have so far:

*We Come To You*

*Date Night: Saved*

*Cars Always Break*

*Vacation: Saved*

So that’s what I need, some company names, and taglines! I’ll be back with another brainstorming exercise later! I look forward to reading all of your comments:

REAL graphic design work!

Today I was approached by the woman who runs the Sadie Dog Fund (See my previous posts about the pooch smooch challenge and my dog, Tank).  Pam wants me to design posters for an upcoming event where they’ll be having a pooch smooch challenge! Yay!  I have to admit, it was very exciting to get a phone cal from her, and have to dig out my ‘design notebook’ so that I could take notes about the new project while on the phone! I felt..Real. Professional. I’m not getting paid for this gig…Instead I am happy to donate my time, energy, and expertise to a wonderful cause!  In case you don’t know about the Sadie Dog fund, is the place to go to learn more or to donate! I can’t wait to get started on my newest design project! I LOVE applying my design skills to real-world applications, instead of just made-up assignments for my instructors!

Make sure to follow me on my design journey, i’ll be posting my progress and asking for critique, so If you know a bit about design, I NEED YOU!

As always, stay beautiful & think divergently!
